ALLOKULOV ABDULLATIF ABDULLAEVICH

Head of the Department of the Studies of Maturidiyya Doctrine

He is a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in History.

He was born in 1982 in Madaniyat village of Pakhtaabad district, Andijan region. He graduated from Tashkent Islamic University with a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies (2006) and with a master’s degree (2008). In 2015-2017 he was a basic doctoral student at the Department of Islamic Studies of Tashkent Islamic University.

From 2008 to 2015, A. Allakulov was a senior lecturer at the Department of Islamic Studies of Tashkent Islamic University. In 2018-2019, he was the head of the Department of Hadith Studies at the Islamic Studies Research Center of Tashkent Islamic University. In 2019, he was the head of the Department of Social and Professional Sciences of the Center for Professional Development under the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan. In 2019-2020, he was the head of the Department of Islamic Studies at the Center for Scientific Research and Innovative Projects of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan. Since November 2020, he has been working as the head of the Department of the Studies of Maturidiyya Doctrine at the Imam Maturidi International Scientific Research Center.

In 2018, he defended his doctoral dissertation on “Analysis of the work of Abu Hafs Nasafi “Aqaeed” and its commentaries” (PhD) at the Specialized Council of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan under the guidance of Doctor of Philology Z. Islamov. Specialty: 24.00.01 - Islamic History and Source Studies.

He participated with his papers at international conferences in Turkestan (Kazakhstan) (2015) and Istanbul (Turkey) (2018).

Currently, A. Allakulov is leading the practical project of the Ministry of Innovation Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan FZ-202002144 – “Academic translation and interpretation of doctrinal texts on the doctrine of Maturidiya and the creation of their electronic library” for 2020-2022.
