TAJIEV AZIZ SHAVKATOVICH

Deputy Director of the Imam Maturidi International Scientific Research Center under the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Historical Sciences. 

He was born in 1983 in Tashkent region. 

He graduated from the Faculty of Islamic History and Philosophy of Tashkent Islamic University (2006).

He completed his master’s degree at Tashkent Islamic University (2008).

From 2008 to 2010 A. Tajiyev was a teacher of social sciences at the Industrial Vocational College of Ahangaran. From 2010 to 2011 he worked at the Department of Oriental Languages and Literature of the Tashkent Regional State Pedagogical Institute. During 2011-2014 he worked as a teacher at the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Faculty of Navai State Mining Institute. From 2014 to 2017 he worked as a production analyst at the Uzbek-Arab joint venture “Jurabek Laboratories” and from 2017 to 2019 he was a basic doctoral student at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan. Since 2020, he has been working as the Scientific Secretary of the Imam Maturidi International Scientific Research Center under the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan.

In 2019, he successfully defended his PhD dissertation on “The Essence of Hadiths against Religious Fanaticism”.
