THE DELEGATION OF SINGAPORE VISITED THE CENTER

On April 17, 2023, a delegation led by Zulkifli Baharuddin, Singapore’s ambassador to Uzbekistan, visited the Imam Maturidi International Scientific Research Center. The ambassador was accompanied by Rashid Zaini, assistant director of the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, and Tze Chia, deputy director of the Technical Cooperation Department.

During the visit, between the Center and delegation of Singapore, opinions were exchanged regarding the establishment of bilateral cooperation, exchange of mutual experience, work being carried out in this regard, advanced methods in the fight against extremism and radicalism, and the rehabilitation of persons affected by fanatical ideas.

The Singapore delegation was also informed about the activities of the Center, the main goals of its establishment, the published books, video and audio materials, and the ongoing scientific research.

Souvenirs were exchanged at the end of the meeting.
