In particular, in the competition, special attention was paid to studying the Maturidiyya kalam school, its development stages, the scientific heritage of Maturidi scholars, rare manuscripts related to the teaching of Maturidiyya stored in world libraries, conveying the principles of tolerance and universal human values reflected in the doctrine to the general public, refuting the ideas of destructive groups operating under the guise of Islam, and forming a correct understanding and imagination of the true humanitarian nature of the Islamic religion in the world community".
The research submitted by the candidates for the competition was evaluated by a jury consisting of qualified staff of the al-Azhar complex.
