Sotvoldiyev Oybek

Head of the Translations Department of the Imam Maturidi International Scientific Research Center

Sotvoldiyev Oybek was born in 1996 in Turakurghan district of Namangan region.

He graduated from Tashkent Islamic University in 2014-2018 with a bachelor’s degree. In 2018-2020, he graduated from the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan with a master’s degree.

Sotvoldiyev Oybek worked as a junior researcher at the Center for Scientific Research and Innovative Projects of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan in 2019-2020, and a junior researcher at the practical project “Creating a modern interpretation of the hadiths of “al-Jami’ as-Sahih” in 2020.

In 2020-2022, Sotvoldiyev Oybek worked as leading researcher in the Imam Maturidi International Scientific Research Center. Since 2022, he has been working as the Head of the Translations Department of the Imam Maturidi International Scientific Research Center.

Sotvoldiyev Oybek is the author of more than ten scientific articles. He is currently conducting research on “At-Tabaqat al-Kubra by Muhammad ibn Sa’d Zuhri is an important source on Islamic History.”
